Overview

IOPS (input/output operations per second) is the standard unit of measurement for the maximum number of reads and writes to non-contiguous storage locations.

In Environment Summary - VMware - Datastores view, in the top left corner, see the

95th percentile for the selected period. The user can select a different time period from the dropdown in the top right corner. Hovering over the graph will show the values for that specific point in time.

To filter specific Datastores, scroll down and filter by name. This filtered view displays the peak values for the selected time period.

Note: These stats are meant for long-term planning across the entire environment, not investigating individual machine problems at high resolution.

Note: All graph values are 95th percentile. All charts show hourly average metrics.
