The default VMware management API (HTTPS) port may be changed from 443. Here are the steps to identify the new port:
Open the vSphere Web Client and navigate to the VMware vCenter Server instance
Select the Configure tab
Under Settings, select Advanced Settings
The VMware management API port should be displayed in Advanced vCenter Server Settings:
When a non-default VMware management API port is used, OneIQ Pulse will display the following error message:
Unexpected error occurred when accessing VMware service. Failed to connect to VMware management API at 'XXX.XXX.XX.XX' on port 'YYY'. Port is not accessible.→ Failed to connect to VMware management API at 'XXX.XXX.XX.XX' on port 'YYY'. Port is not accessible.
To resolve this issue, the custom port should be specified in OneIQ Pulse for the VMware endpoint:
