Prerequisites

You must be part of a OneIQ account with an Enterprise license.

Overview

OneIQ allows IT professionals to control how much and what type of data collaborators can see in an IT environment connected to a workspace

Steps

To modify the access policy that controls how IT environment data is presented within this workspace, follow these steps:

  1. Login to the OneIQ Portal

  2. Navigate to the workspace where you want to modify the access policy.

  3. Go to Settings

  4. In the IT Environment section, click on the Change access policy

  5. Choose the scope for changing the access policy

    1. All platforms: All platforms in the connected IT environment will be accessible. This applies to any existing platform or platforms added in the future.

    2. Selected platforms: Restrict access by an individual platform or an entire category such as datacenter, cloud or container.

  6. In the Restrict menu, you will see four controls:

    • Applications: Restrict access to applications and their data. Infrastructure components might still be accessible.

    • Costs: Restrict access to the cost data.

    • Scrambled data visibility: Scramble sensitive and identifiable assets data such as names and IP addresses.

    • Temporal access: If no time-based restriction is specified, the entire temporal range of the IT environment is accessible.

  7. Once you have made your changes, click on the Confirm button to save the new access policy.
