Overview

OneIQ Pulse for Datacenter collects configuration and performance data through Prism Central. This article explains how to deploy Pulse to connect with a Nutanix environment.

⚠️ Important: Collection from Prism Element is not supported, only Prism Central.
If Prism Central is not available in your Nutanix environment, you can connect directly to Windows and Linux virtual machines instead.

Prerequisites

  • Outbound Internet connectivity on port 443 (SSL) to OneIQ

  • Read-only user for Nutanix Prism Central, which can list and gather configuration and performance data from all entities

  • OneIQ Pulse server - Windows Server 2016 or later with the following specifications.
