OneIQ Pulse UI is a Windows-based console that discovers supported target platforms without installing agents. It communicates with the OneIQ Pulse Service via an API.

OneIQ Pulse Service collects infrastructure configuration, performance and network data from datacenter platforms and synchronizes it over SSL with the OneIQ Central data warehouse.

Passwords entered into the OneIQ Pulse are encrypted using AES-256 and are never displayed in plaintext or transmitted externally. See Application Security for more information about OneIQ's security features.

OneIQ Deputy Service manages WS-Management Trusted Hosts for Azure Stack HCI, Microsoft Hyper-V, and Microsoft Failover Clusters discovered in OneIQ Pulse. This service is only required for these platforms.
