You must have administrator access on the Windows Server where OneIQ Pulse is installed.

The error message "Service Connection Failed" indicates that a connection to a OneIQ Pulse service has failed. This error can occur in various contexts and for different reasons, depending on the specific service or application involved.

The error below is observed upon opening the OneIQ Pulse console on the server utilizing an Internet Proxy.

  1. Open the Server Manager Dashboard.

  2. Click on Local Server on the left pane.

  3. In the Properties area, next to IE Enhanced Security Configuration, click on On.

  4. In the Internet Explorer Enhanced Security Configuration box, under Administrators, select Off to disable the IE ESC for administrators, and under Users, select Off to disable the IE ESC for users. Click OK.

  5. Open Internet Explorer.

  6. Click on the gear icon in the upper right corner and select Internet Options.

  7. Go to the Connections tab and click on LAN settings.

  8. Check the box next to Bypass proxy server for local addresses.

  9. Click OK to close the Local Area Network (LAN) Settings window.

  10. Click OK again to close the Internet Options window.

You can find more information in the Configure proxy server settings in Windows article.
