Prerequisites
You must be the IT Environment owner.
Changes to data access policies must be made in the OneIQ Portal using the owner’s login.
Overview
OneIQ allows IT professionals to control how much and what type of data collaborators can see in an IT Environment connected to a Workspace. These rules are managed through access policies.
Steps
To modify the access policy for an IT Environment shared in a Workspace:
Log in to the OneIQ Portal.
Navigate to the IT Environment where you want to change the access policy.
Go to Settings.
In the IT Environment section, click Change Access Policy.
Choose the scope of the access policy:
All platforms: Grants access to all platforms in the connected IT Environment, including any added in the future.
Selected platforms: Restricts access to specific platforms or entire categories (datacenter, cloud, container).
In the Restrict menu, configure additional controls:
Applications: Restrict access to applications and their data (infrastructure may still be visible).
Costs: Restrict access to cost data.
Scrambled data visibility: Scramble sensitive asset data such as hostnames and IP addresses.
Temporal access: Control the time range of accessible data. By default, all available data is accessible.
Click Confirm to save the new access policy.
